Terms and Conditions
At Blooming Lotus Massage Therapy & Skincare, we understand life happens. Unforeseen events, illness, car trouble, child’s care come first. However, we ask that you call or text us if you cannot keep your appointment at least 6 hours in advance. Otherwise, we will charge you a $50 cancellation fee due to the fact that your therapy session is reserved exclusively for you. We value your business and ask you to respect our scheduling policy.
When you miss your appointment with us, our therapists not only lose your business, but also the potential business from other clients who could have schedule an appointment for the same time.
We ask all clients to check in for their appointments at least 10 minutes prior to their start time in order to fill out necessary forms. If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, please call our front desk at (773) 229-8596.
Scheduling appointments:
- Credit card information is required to make an appointment.
- No shows, and last minute cancellations are going to be charged a fee of $50.00
- If a client is running late for their appointment, we may not always be able to honor the full time for a scheduled service.
- We will try to accommodate as much as we can but it’s not always possible. You will be charged for a full time session.
Cancellation Policy
Dear Client,
The Blooming Lotus strives to encourage clients to remember their scheduled appointments and therefore has adapted a cancellation policy. Unlike other types of businesses, we are unable to fill a late, cancelled or forgotten appointment at the last minute. We need lead time to fill open appointment times. Therefore, the below cancellation policy is in effect:
We require a minimum of 6 hours notice for a single session and 24 hours notice for a double session. If less than 6 hours notice for a single session or less than 24 hours notice for a double session is given, we will charge a cancellation fee of $50 per session in order to maintain our business.
Just as in many service industries (Spas, Hotels, etc.), we require a credit card to be kept on file in order to guarantee payment for reserved appointments that are not kept or cancelled within the policy agreement described above. A client is not charged until the time of service and is free to use another form of payment after the session, such as gift cards, cash or a different credit card.
Please note that frequent cancellations, even with proper notice, should be avoided.
Be sure to double-check you calendar for any conflicts prior to scheduling appointments.
